Delmac Power Tools has been selected as the Whyalla Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business of the Month for April.
Chamber President Ron Hay said the business was chosen for its quality customer service and an unique layout.
“The service this business gives has been really good and customers have found that it’s really easy to understand how to use equipment,” he said.
“Overall, it’s a really good experience for customers when they come in here.”
Delmac owner Denise Savaidis said the award proved the staff were doing a ‘really good job’.
“A lot of effort goes into the way we’ve set up the shop, the staff make sure they change it around and put promotions up every week,” she said.
“We try to promote what is important in the environment of the day, this award gives us confidence that we are doing the right thing.”
“We carry a broad range of products and we service a wide range of equipment from chainsaws to whippersnippers through to vehicles.”
Ms Savaidis said the store had grown steadily since it was established and had also received support from other towns.
“It’s been fantastic, we’re in an industry that’s quite unique and we have really good staff here who know what they’re doing,” she said.
