Congratulations to the January 2025 Business of the Month; BizUp Whyalla…
Still in the throes of a New Year, it’s fitting to focus on businesses that are committed to Whyalla and its residents. BizUp started approximately ten years ago as a South Australian company strongly invested in our regional areas with a few other locations also in NSW and spearheaded by its Head Office in Adelaide. The Whyalla store is the leading location being driven by a very inspirational team of Sam and Jamie.
Meeting Sam help me learn a more in depth understanding of BizUp and its capabilities. Sam indicated that the business follows three strategies:
Public Service that provides repair services to computers, mobile devices, gaming consoles, and retail sales such as computer parts, smart phones, and antivirus software.
Its Corporate Service which includes Eftpos IT solutions to major Banks, onsite ICT services for larger clients in Whyalla, and even service and supply to local Schools.
The third strategy is focused on managing IT services for local small and medium businesses that incorporates network and site audits, printing troubleshooting, data backup and recovery, as well as onsite and remote support.
In fact, this is only a small narrative of what BizUp can provide and a visit to their store is highly recommended for any IT questions or advice.
BizUp prides itself on customer service whilst providing simple language to understand what issues you might be experiencing. They have proudly inserted themselves into the Whyalla community and have been active in supporting the McHappy Days funding and are open to other possibilities. With more locations being the vision for BizUp it’s worth noting how invested they are outside of the mainstream cities.
