October – Stratco

Stratco Whyalla was recently named Chamber of Commerce’s business of the month for October.
Chamber of Commerce committee member Merton Hodge said Stratco’s dedication to its customer first approach was outstanding.
Mr Hodge said the chamber had a number of exceptional contestants in the running for the month of October, however, Stratco was a clear winner.
“Stratco is a proud, local business who is very deserving of this honour,” Mr Hodge said.
Mr Hodge said Stratco’s customer approach and ethos played an integral part in why it was awarded business of the month.
Stratco Whyalla branch manager Nathan Styles said it was the first time Stratco had been awarded business of the month.
Mr Styles said it was a great “honour” and credited his dedicated staff for their customer first mentality.
He said while the award was great recognition, Stratco did not operate for any means of recognition.
“The recognition is fantastic and it’s very good to have been awarded business of the month for October,” he said.
“We definitely don’t do it for any awards or praise and we pride ourselves on our customer first attitude.”
Mr Styles said he had been with Stratco for seven years, six with Whyalla and one year with Port Augusta.
He said the family owned business worked and strived to apply the best customer service experience for its dedicated and loyal consumers.
Mr Styles said he wanted to thank Stratco Whyalla’s customers for the nomination for business of the month and their continued support.
“To receive this recognition is great and we pride ourselves on our customer service and going that extra mile for them,” he said
