Whyalla Garden Centre was named Business of the Month for May by Whyalla Chamber of Commerce for outstanding contributions to the Whyalla community.
Chamber executive and council representative Merton Hodge said Whyalla Garden Centre was a worthy recipient of the award. “They have been doing a terrific
job for many years now and they’ve been rewarded for their hard work,” Mr Hodge said.
Whyalla Garden Centre assistant manager Leanne Freymark said she was “gob smacked” when she received the phone call. “When we got the phone call it was just an amazing feeling that we were actually named Business of the Month,” Mrs Freymark said.
“It’s a big honour and a great honour. “We’re really just over the moon and as proud as punch.”
