Congratulations to the June 2025 Business of the Month; U-Pedal Cycles.
Another month and yet another business ingrained in Whyalla history. U-Pedal Cycles have been established and providing cycles for approximately 40 years in Whyalla and are the largest cycling provider from Whyalla to West Australia. With Jenny Odgers at the mantle for most of this time it has certainly proven to be a renown shop full of everything cycles. Along this incredible journey it has even had proud pleasure in suppling items to World Champions and Olympic Athletes.
Now that Wes Fisher has taken over the reins, he has instilled his own touches to make it more aligned to his vision. The shop provides all makes of cycles, ranging from road, casual, commuter, e-bikes, and not to forget the young people just starting out. But as Wes suggests, the current market is more heavily involved with fat tyre off road cycles which are becoming very popular.
They are suppliers of spare parts, apparel, helmets, custom items, and if there is something of particular interest not in the shop, just ask Wes and I’m sure he’ll help out. Backing up on new sales Wes also provides a very competent workshop for repairs and tuning.
In keeping with local demand and being a person to diversify, Wes now houses helmets and consumables for powered motorcycles to keep in with his customers needs.
There is a point to be had when dealing with a local in your own home town; and that is you have a shop to go to, a face to discuss reputable, qualified, and confident decisions in making your choice. And if there is any question of a warranty claim you can refer directly to a person which is the more difficult in the online world.
U-Pedal Cycles is your go to for cycling, and Wes Fisher is a committed racing and winning cyclist himself, so you’ll know you’re in the right hands.
