Darryl owner and operator of Whyalla Scaffold has been servicing Whyalla and the Eyre Peninsula for the last 32 years. Starting in the trade at just 16 years old. Darryl learnt the trade for 9 years prior to opening Whyalla Scaffold in 1990.
Currently running with half a dozen staff you will find Whyalla Scaffold supplying scaffolding to all facets of residential, commercial, and industrial clientele. Darryl and the team have a long lasting partnership with CSL assisting with supply duties & maintenance.
Recently diversifying his Business to incorporate Dustless Blasting, the team can clear anything from graffiti to ship structures removing all forms of corrosion back to bare metals.
Being the only individually owned Scaffolding Company in the Eyre Peninsula Darryl is resourceful to not rely on the Steelworks and actively seeks to support smaller contractors and keep the Whyalla dollar strong.
Whyalla Scaffold is prepared to travel for free no obligation quotes to help local councils and community groups with restoration and community projects. With a recent example being the restoration of the Big Gala in Kimba.
With flag poles located at his main gate Darryl is a very patriotic man proudly supporting the local RSL, Rotary Club, Whyalla Players and other Community Groups.
