It was great to catch up with Greg Hall and thank him for bringing ‘The Circus’ to Whyalla.
But before we could let him leave town we wanted to know a bit more about him. So we asked the question, ‘why’?
Well, as Greg says, ‘I’ve been doing it for over 50 years’. I learnt from Greg that the circus is more than a show, it’s a finely tuned business that meticulously plans what it does. Being a job that is constantly on the road takes skilled people to pitch in wherever they can. There is no individual star performer because as soon as an act is finished that performer will help the next.
The team that makes up the show are not only from Australia, but all over the world. Greg has a drive for delivering the best show he can, and as soon as he thinks he can do better; he does.
We’d all like to thank ‘The Circus’ for coming to Whyalla as you’ve proven what great entertainment we have here in Australia.
And finally as Greg will say, ‘Its about the laughter and the applause’.
