Congratulations to the April Business of the Month; Chris Birch Crane Hire. (CBCH) Chris, or ‘Birchy’ as everyone knows him as, explains how proud he is of CBCH which is now in its fourteenth year in business.
From starting all those years ago, he is now proud to announce the delivery of a new crane capable of lifting 60ton and another coming soon with 150ton capabilities. These will compliment his other fleet ranging between 15 to 100ton lifting ranges. With a strong 30 employee-based company CBCH prides itself in keeping very astute with safety and ensuring their workers are up to date with specialised training to compliment the ever-changing environment.
A very important point from Birchy is CBCH is a Whyalla owned and operated business. ‘We employ local, we buy local, and we reinvest back into the Whyalla community’. This is very evident by the amount of sponsorship his company provides. A short tour around Whyalla and you’ll notice CBCH on a lot of fences supporting sporting clubs and events.
