The Whyalla Chamber of Commerce and Industry was proud to host the 2012 Business of the Year Awards Dinner on October 12th. Held in the Oasis Function Room at the Westland Hotel, the evening celebrated the success of local business and enterprise, recognising those that have surpassed the expectations of their customers and clients.
The winners of each ‘Business of the Month’ award through the 2011/12 nomination period were all eligible to be named Business of the Year. After careful deliberation and assessment by a Chamber of Commerce sub-committee, the 2012 Business of the Year Award has presented to Neville McMullen of NJ & T McMullen.
NJ & T McMullen is a diverse service and supply business and encompasses three key business units – McMullen Builders, B&E Plumbing and Nordic Air-conditioning. Having serviced the Whyalla region for 26 years (as of 2012), the business is significant employer, trainer and providence customer peace-of-mind as a quality assured and certified operator.
Director Neville McMullen and his dedicated team offer a wide range of services, from new building works to residential upgrades, electrical work, plumbing, gasfitting, refrigeration and imaging. Dedication to customer service and the community, meeting or exceeding customer expectations, highly efficient trades people and value for money were all key areas recognised by their customers and by the Whyalla Chamber also.
The Whyalla Chamber congratulated Neville and his team on being named the 2012 Outstanding Business of the Year.
