The Whyalla Chamber of Commerce and Industry was proud to host the 2011 Business of the Year Awards Dinner on October 7th. Held in the Oasis Function Room at the Westland Hotel, the evening celebrated the success of local business and enterprise, recognising those that have surpassed the expectations of their customers and clients.
The winners of each ‘Business of the Month’ award through the 2010/11 nomination period were all eligible to be named Business of the Year. After careful deliberation and assessment by a Chamber of Commerce sub-committee, the 2011 Business of the Year Award has presented to T-Life Whyalla, of Forsyth Street.
T-Life Whyalla were recognised for their commitment to local customer service. Thier knowledge of the product and service range and delivery of information were also acknowledged. Their strength in marketing, community focus and the overall growth of the business were also recognised.
To accompany the presentation of the award, T-Life Whyalla also received $4,500 of media advertising, courtesy of the Whyalla News, Southern Cross Television and MagicFM/5AU.
Also at the Awards Dinner, Business SA and Hillross Financial Services sponsored awards for the Employer of the Year, Trainee of the Year and Apprentice of the Year. The winners are presented below.
